The Scholastic Book Fair is coming just in time for last-minute gifts!

Students can shop the fair in the Gardiner Library from Monday, December 15, through Thursday, December 18. Families are also able to shop online through the Book Fair website at https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/gardinermiddleschool.

Also on the website, you can set up an eWallet and preview many of the books that will be available.

All of the money raised goes toward buying new books for the Gardiner Library, so thank you in advance for supporting more reading!

Career Day Guest Speakers Needed Gardiner Middle School’s Annual College and Career Week is February 23-27, 2026. Friday, February 27th is our Guest Speaker Day where we will be hosting a variety of speakers to present on a college or career-related topic. We would love for you to come visit our beautiful new school and talk with students about your post-high school education and career experiences. Gardiner is once again partnering with the Oregon City Elks Club for the Annual Canned Food Drive. This food drive will be held from November 19 - December 6. Please send non-perishable foods to Gardiner before December 6th to help the local community. The Elks will add fresh food to supplement what we donate. Last year we were able to help 250 families.

Food Drive November 19 - December 6, 2025 Gardiner Student Council is partnering with the Oregon City Elk’s Club for their annual Canned Food Drive beginning next week. During this food drive the advisory classes will be competing to collect the most food. The advisory who collects the most food will win a prize. Donate Non-Perishable Food

Last night our Elementary Design Advisory Group met to review the new updated conceptual design plans for our Phase 2 Elementary schools. Our team will be visiting these schools (John McLoughlin, Holcomb, and Candy Lane) on November 24 and 25 during conferences to hear feedback and input on these new conceptual designs from parents and our community. This Friday is our first VIP Breakfast and we are starting the year off by honoring the students who are Responsible. Each day staff passes out Gotchas to students who are being Respectful, Responsible, Safe and Kind. The students put their names on the Gotchas and turn them into the Gotcha Box where every Friday we have a drawing and five lucky winners get to spin the Prize Wheel in the Welcome Center. Our prize closet is getting low and we could really use your help. We have the BEST families in the district and we are so thankful for you!

Join OC Middle School Dance Team - Practices are Tuesdays & Thursdays starting Tues. Nov. 18until Feb. 27 - For grades 6-8 at GMS & TMS: all dance abilities invited! We are a no-cut team. Compete in 2-3 competitions, and perform halftime at OCHS basketball game. Be a part of an amazing team experience!
