Great Opportunity (GO) After School Program

Sign up for a great after school activity called GO starting October 15th – afterschool on Thursdays until 5pm. The Go program is a free after school program open to any interested 6th, 7th or 8th grade student at Gardiner Middle School.  Each day students will be provided a snack followed by a large group activity.  Often this is homework help time, but some days it may be an icebreaker or team skill building activities.  The last hour of each afternoon will be spent in a specific club with activities run by trained volunteers.  There will be a variety of activities, which may include arts and crafts, drama, cooking, dodge ball, soccer, basketball, scrap booking, swing dancing or photography.  The list goes on and on!  Students will be expected to sign up for and stay in their specific club each afternoon, but are encouraged to sign up for a different club each week.  This after school program is FREE and bus transportation is also available.  Your student will need to sign up for the activity bus in the front office, and must be signed up one day prior to  attending the program.  If this sounds like a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for your student this year, please fill out the permission slip, available on the rack outside the front office, and return it to Gardiner's main office.
